What is glycerin?Glycerin is a natural Humectant, which attracts moisture to the skin. Glycerin soaps are known to be gentle, moisturizing and softening.
How should I care for my soap products?Our soaps are wrapped in shrink wrap, cellophane, and/or cello bags to ensure freshness. We suggest that you store your soap in a dry area away from direct sunlight until you are ready to use it. Due to the high glycerin content of your soap, you should keep it in a well-drained soap dish to prevent it from shrinking prematurely.
How should I display my products if I am a wholesale customer?Soaps should be lined up on a shelf or in a display away from direct sunlight. Direct sunlight can cause the colors to fade, so please display Backyard Soaps & More products away from the sunlight. Because the soap has such a high glycerin content, it is soft and can be damaged easily if displayed in a basket with other soaps. Our soaps sell best when displayed on a shelf with plenty of room between other soaps so that customers may pick them up to smell. Our popular sea sponge soaps are an exception and look great displayed in a clear glass cylindrical jar.
If I am a wholesale customer, may I order votive, tart and tealight candles individually?If you are a wholesale customer, you must order votives, tarts and tealights by the dozen.
Are there any other products that are excluded from wholesale purchase?Yes bubble bath is not available for wholesale customers. Although you may see the products listed with wholesale prices, they are not available for wholesale purchase. We are working on updating our website so bubble bath does not show up when our wholesale customers log in.
What methods of payment do you accept for retail orders?We accept Mastercard, VISA, Discover, American Express and PayPal.

When will my order ship?Retail orders generally ship within 1-3 days, but may take longer during peak season (Sep-Dec). Wholesale orders generally take 1-2 weeks to ship, but may take longer during peak season and depending on the size of the order.
How do you ship?We ship via Fedex, UPS and US Priority Mail.
Where do you ship?We ship anywhere in the world. There is an additional $5 handling fee for APO shipments. For orders outside of the United States we will determine your shipping after the order is placed. We will contact you via e-mail to finalize.
What if I need to return my purchase?We are unable to accept returns due to the nature of our products. However, defective/damaged merchandise will be replaced with an identical item. Please e-mail us for a defective/damaged authorization number. We will not be responsible for items returned without authorization.
What if I need to cancel my order?You may cancel your order within 15 minutes of placing it. Please e-mail us immediately so that we may cancel it for you.

Do you send out FREE Samples?We do not send out free samples, but we do have small sliver soaps that you can buy for 50 cents a piece (retail). Just e-mail us and we can arrange payment from you and send you the scents of your choice. |
